Inklings: a tumblelog

oEmbed is a format for allowing an embedded representation of a URL on third party sites. The simple API allows a website to display embedded content (such as photos or videos) when a user posts a link to that resource, without having to parse the resource directly.

This I didn’t know about before, but it would certainly make some of my automatic embedding code much more flexible. Worth a try.

If only more companies had a culture like this!

On a tangent, I must fix the rendering of titles; quotes are meant to be rendered in a smart fashion, but I’ve just noticed that doesn’t appear to be happening.

If the rest of ME2 was just a build up to this singular moment alone, it’s totally worth the asking price!
